The impact ETV program  that could be achieved is hindered by the current lack of awareness, knowledge and understanding of the scheme and its use  in Green Public Procurement (GPP) and Innovation Procurement (IP). To addressing this challenge in a collaborative way involving all interested parties, LIFEproETV will:

Build capacity and skills, strengthen infrastructure and provide knowledge base for  ETV for its EU-wide uptake and easy access of SMEs to ETV information and service

Create favourable enabling policy environment as a driving force encouraging the uptake of ETV on EU and domestic markets while helping achieve environmental climate and policy objectives through  green  innovations

Expand the promotion of the system to new geographic and technological areas

Make public procurement and innovation procurement market drivers for ETV

Build awareness of ETV as a voluntary scheme among technology providers and buyers to make it top-of-mind tool that facilitates market entrance of – green innovations (supply side) and supports transparent, evidence-based procurement decisions (demand side).
